Barcelona star Eric García has called into question the tactical setup utilised in the club’s meeting with Club Brugge on Wednesday.
This of course comes fresh off an outing to forget for the Blaugrana.
Hansi Flick’s troops made the trip to Jan Breydel Stadium a short time ago, for a Champions League clash.
When all was said and done, Barcelona were forced to make do with a share of the spoils, owing to a hectic back-and-forth 3-3 draw.
The Spanish champions never appeared to be in control of the clash, as hosts Brugge time and again took advantage of the visitors’ high defensive line.
At the heart of as much was the aforementioned Eric García, who was inevitably drawn on the chaotic nature of his side’s latest performance post-match.
And the former Manchester City man was not shy in highlighting one area in which he feels Barca desperately ‘need to improve’, explaining:
“They were posing a lot of danger to us on the counter attacks, so with just two passes they’d reach the penalty area. This is something we definitely need to improve.”
