Barcelona star Jules Koundé departed training early on Saturday, whilst dealing with a lingering fitness concern.
As much has thrown the status of the Frenchman for tomorrow’s meeting with Celta Vigo very much up in the air.
As per a report from Barcelona insider Carlos Monfort:
‘The French full-back is still dealing with discomfort and his starting spot tomorrow at Balaídos is not 100% confirmed.’
Stopper Koundé is for his part in the midst of something of a week to forget all told.
This past Wednesday, the former Sevilla man found himself the subject of a fresh round of criticism on the part of the Barca faithful.
As much came after Koundé’s underwhelming recent stretch of individual form continued en route to a 3-3 Champions League draw with Club Brugge.b
Despite such woes, the 26-year-old has been afforded a place in France’s squad for the November international break.
