A leading member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona appeared to pick up an injury scare late in the club’s latest outing.
The player in question? Marcus Rashford.
Barcelona were of course back in action a short time ago, making the trip to Andalusia for a league showdown with Sevilla.
The Blaugrana headed into the matchup eyeing a bounce-back result, following a first defeat of the term at the hands of PSG in midweek.
When all was said and done on an evening to forget for Hansi Flick’s troops, however, they were condemned to the wrong side of a 4-1 result.
And as alluded to above, the eventual outcome at The Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán was far from the only source of concern for the evening’s visitors.
In addition, following the full-time whistle, Marcus Rashford – responsible for Barcelona’s only goal of the evening – went to ground in evident discomfort.
The Englishman was quickly tended to by the Blaugrana medical team, with it now remaining to be seen if he has suffered any kind of significant injury.
