Barcelona star offered to Man United & Chelsea in January

La Liga giants Barcelona have offered up the services of goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen to a trio of Premier League clubs for the 2nd half of the campaign.

This comes amid an ongoing push to force the shot-stopper out of Catalunya’s capital.

Ter Stegen, sidelined at present after undergoing back surgery over the summer, is currently considered as being well down the pecking order between the posts in Hansi Flick’s squad.

Following the arrival of Joan García, the German is widely viewed as 3rd-choice, behind Wojciech Szczęsny, too.

Expected to return to fitness over the weeks ahead, club and player alike are therefore searching for a solution.

Ter Stegen, despite his eagerness to continue donning the colours of Barcelona, is aware that he will likely require a transfer, to ensure his place in Germany’s squad for next summer’s World Cup.

And with as much in mind, he has been offered up to three English clubs.

As per a report from Fichajes, all of Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have been contacted over a potential January deal for the 33-year-old.

Any such move would be expected to come in the form of a loan.
