Barcelona youngster Marc Bernal has not ruled out a potential mid-season departure from the club.
This comes amid growing disappointment on the part of the midfielder with the lack of game time being afforded to him.
Bernal is of course not long back from a long-term spell on the sidelines with an ACL injury, which kept the 18-year-old out of action for over a year.
Barcelona, in turn, are being understandably cautious when it comes to reintroducing Bernal to Hansi Flick’s XI.
His total of just over 30 minutes of senior playing time to this point in the campaign, however, is seemingly considered overly cautious on the part of the player himself.
As per a report from Marca, should this situation not change over the weeks ahead, Bernal, in turn, ‘might look for a way out in the next transfer window’.
Any such move, if approved, would come in the form of a loan, with Barca maintaining full faith in Bernal’s readiness to contribute in the long-term.
