A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona managed his first-ever appearance at senior level on the international front on Friday.
The player in question? Roony Bardghji.
Youngster Bardghji of course sealed the most high-profile move of his career to date this past summer.
This came upon the aforementioned Barcelona taking advantage of the winger’s expiring contract with FC Copenhagen, to bring him to Catalunya’s capital for a cut-price fee.
Bardghji has since gone on to manage a quartet of La Liga appearances, including a pair of starts for Hansi Flick’s reigning Spanish champions.
As much recently culminated in a call-up to the Swedish senior squad for the October international break.
And as alluded to above, on Friday, Bardghji enjoyed a night to remember with his country.
En route to Sweden being put to the sword by Switzerland in a World Cup qualifying fixture, the 19-year-old was introduced off the bench during the 2nd-half, for his senior international now.
