The board at Villarreal are eyeing a January deal for Barcelona star Roony Bardghji.
This comes amid hopes on the part of the Yellow Submarine that the young Swede could be available on loan.
Winger Bardghji has of course endured something of a quiet opening to the campaign in Catalunya’s capital.
After swapping FC Copenhagen for Barcelona over the summer, the 19-year-old has understandably struggled to lock down a place for himself on the right wing, amid competition from Lamine Yamal.
Just last weekend, though, Bardghji provided all with a reminder of his unquestionable talents, in delivering a goal and an assist en route to a 5-3 downing of Real Betis.
And such exploits, it would appear, have already turned heads across the Spanish football landscape…
As per a report from Fichajes:
‘Villarreal’s impressive season has prompted the board to make moves ahead of the winter transfer window, and one of the names highlighted is Roony Bardghji.’
Marcelino and co. are understood to be keen on a short-term loan deal for the attacker, albeit with it currently unclear if Barcelona would be open to as much.
