A member of the defensive ranks at La Liga champions Barcelona has received transfer proposals on the part of several clubs across the summer to date.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who point towards Andreas Christensen as the player in question.
Stopper Christensen of course finds himself in something of a precarious situation in Catalunya’s capital at present.
Owing to a combination of the competition for places at centre-back in Hansi Flick’s squad, and the expiry of his Barcelona contract in 12 months’ time, the Camp Nou brass are understood to have opened the door to the sale of the former Chelsea man.
Christensen, as of yet, however, evidently remains to be convinced of as much.
This comes amid confirmation on the part of the aforementioned MD that:
‘For his part, Andreas Christensen has offers for a change of scenery this summer.’
Though none have yet swayed the 29-year-old towards calling time on his stint at the Camp Nou, Deco and co. remain hopeful of as much before the summer is out, eager to free up space on the Blaugrana’s bloated wage bill.
