A fresh update on the long-rumoured departure of Barcelona star Ansu Fati has been forthcoming online early this week.
The info comes courtesy of transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who has confirmed that the 22-year-old is now on the verge of making the move to France with AS Monaco.
Ansu’s name has of course proven an altogether prominent one in Catalunya’s capital over the course of recent days.
This comes after widespread confirmation was forthcoming that the aforementioned Monaco had entered the bidding for his signature in a major way.
Negotiations, in turn, were kicked into gear between all three parties, with a view to a summer loan move to the Stade Louis II.
And as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, then Ansu’s move to Ligue 1 now appears closer than ever.
As per a report from Fabrizio Romano:
‘Agreement done with Ansu as he’s said yes to Monaco project after rejecting all approaches from 5+ clubs in January. Barça and Monaco are closing in on loan plus buy option; last detail, sell-on clause… then here we go.’
