A headline member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona has been on the receiving end of a mammoth contract offer, by way of the Saudi Pro League.
The player in question? Raphinha.
The subject of wide-man Raphinha’s future in Catalunya’s capital has of course returned to the forefront of the headlines over the course of recent weeks.
As much comes amid ongoing speculation that the Brazilian could be sacrificed, to raise the required funds to source a deal for his replacement, in Nico Williams.
Raphinha, for his part, has remained steadfast in his stance that he has absolutely no intention of going anywhere over the weeks ahead, eager as ever to prove himself in the colours of Barcelona.
But, safe to say, his commitment is being put very much to the test…
This comes amid fresh claims of Raphinha receiving an eye-watering financial proposal from the Middle East.
As per a report from Barca insider Adrián Sánchez, the 27-year-old was recently the recipient of a contract offer from an unnamed Saudi Pro League club.
And, as part of the terms, Raphinha was offered three times the wages which he currently earns in Blaugrana colours.
It now remains to be seen whether as much could turn the head of the former Leeds United standout…
