Barcelona star Ferran Torres on Saturday secured his place in a prestigious club on the international stage.
This came courtesy of his latest goal for Spain.
Frontman Ferran was in from the off for La Roja once more this evening, in a World Cup qualifying meeting with Georgia.
And the former Manchester City man went on to justify his inclusion by way of a starring performance.
En route to a 4-0 triumph, Ferran was responsible for both a goal and an assist.
It was the former, slotted home from close range during the first-half, though, which proved to be a history-making strike.
The Barcelona man, across his international career to date, has now found the net 23 times. This is enough for a place in the list of Spain’s top-10 goalscorers of all-time.
Drawn on his achievement following the full-time whistle against Georgia, Ferran explained:
“I’m proud to enter into the top-10 top scorers of Spain’s history.”
