A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga champions Barcelona has been dropped to the bench for his country’s latest outing.
The player in question? Marcus Rashford.
Wide-man Rashford was for his part in from the off over the weekend, as England played host to minnows Andorra in a World Cup qualifying fixture.
En route to an eventual 2-0 Three Lions triumph, however, the 27-year-old struggled to make a telling impact on proceedings.
Post-match, Rashford, in turn, was a number of English players singled out for criticism on the part of the country’s supporters.
And as alluded to above, as much has since culminated in the on-loan Manchester United man losing his place in Thomas Tuchel’s XI.
