Barcelona star Raphinha has confirmed that he is not yet ready to see out a full 90 minutes of football.
This of course comes with the Brazilian fresh off his return to the pitch following a long-term spell on the sidelines through injury.
Raphinha suffered a hamstring problem back in September, which, after a pair of separate setbacks, kept him on the treatment table for the best part of two months.
The former Leeds United man finally managed his comeback against Athletic Club this past weekend, but was afforded only a late cameo off the bench.
In turn, it should not come as a major surprise to learn that he will not play the entirety of Barca’s ensuing outing against Chelsea later today.
Drawn on his status for the Stamford Bridge showdown during an interview with TNT Sports Brasil early this week, Raphinha admitted:
“I won’t play 90 minutes. I’m not ready for that yet. It’s too soon.”
