A member of the midfield ranks at Barcelona managed a remarkable 98% passing accuracy during the club’s meeting with Real Valladolid this evening.
Barca, of course, are fresh off making it four wins from four to start the campaign, in nothing short of remarkable style.
After welcoming Real Valladolid to Catalunya’s capital for a La Liga clash, Hansi Flick’s troops romped to a staggering 7-0 triumph, courtesy of goals on the part of all of Raphinha (3), Robert Lewandowski, Jules Koundé, Dani Olmo and Ferran Torres.
Post-match, a whole host of the Blaugrana’s stars, in turn, have been singled out for altogether deserved praise.
It is one of the more understated members of boss Flick’s squad, though, who was responsible for perhaps the most head-turning achievement of all on Saturday.
The player in question? Marc Casadó.
Afforded a starting berth amid the injury absence of Marc Bernal, Casadó enjoyed a fine evening’s work, keeping things ticking over in style in the middle of the park.
And, across his hour on the pitch, the 20-year-old, it has since been revealed, misplaced just one pass.
As per FotMob, Casadó attempted 64 passes against Real Valladolid, just one of which failed to find its intended target.
