The latest social media activity on the part of Barcelona star Alejandro Balde has turned heads across the club’s fanbase on Friday evening.
This comes after the defender likened a fellow Blaugrana starlet to a long-time transfer target on the part of the club.
Barca, of course, kicked the club’s pre-season fixtures list into gear on Thursday evening, in a meeting with minnows UE Olot.
A whole host of the club’s latest crop of breakthrough young talents were afforded the chance to impress on the evening, en route to an eventual 1-0 victory.
And amongst them was midfielder Marc Casadó.
Introduced off the bench during the 2nd-half against Olot, Casadó was hailed post-match, for turning the tide in the middle of the park in the favour of Hansi Flick’s troops.
And, as alluded to above, such exploits have since culminated in a head-turning (albeit lighthearted) comparison between the 20-year-old, and one of the continent’s standout midfielders.
Taking to the comments section of Casadó’s latest Instagram post, the aforementioned Alejandro Balde replied with:
‘Kimmich’, alongside a flame and laughing emoji.
