Barcelona star backs Chelsea youngster to join Lamine Yamal as ‘the best in the world’

Barcelona star Raphinha has this week moved to make clear his appreciation for the talents of Chelsea youngster and international teammate Estêvão.

This of course comes as the two Brazilians prepare to lock horns on the continent.

Barcelona have made the trip to west London early this week, ahead of facing off with Club World Cup holders Chelsea in a Champions League clash.

In anticipation of the matchup, the aforementioned Raphinha therefore sat down for an interview with TNT Sports Brasil.

During as much, the attacker was drawn on a whole host of topics, including the early comparisons between club teammate Lamine Yamal, and compatriot Estêvão.

The pair, who both ply their trade on the right wing, are considered two of the standout young players in world football at present.

And Raphinha did not hesitate in giving his blessing to the two starlets, in responding:

“Estevao and Lamine are two players with spectacular quality. In the coming years of their careers, they will become the best players in the world… I’m sure of it. Reaching the top depends on them, but they are on the right path to becoming the best at their clubs and with their national teams. I try to help them with my experience because the talent is theirs, it’s personal. I’m sure they are talents who will soar for many years.”
