Barcelona star attracting interest from 4 clubs ahead of the summer

A member of the goalkeeper ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona is attracting transfer interest by way of a pair of clubs with a view to next season.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who highlight Iñaki Peña as the player in question.

Shot-stopper Peña has been hotly tipped for a move away from Catalunya’s capital this summer.

Already behind both Wojciech Szczęsny and Marc-André ter Stegen in the pecking order between the posts in Hansi Flick’s squad, and with Barcelona now actively pursuing the signature of Espanyol standout Joan García, Peña looks set to be the odd man out.

And if the latest word stemming from the media on Monday is anything to go by, then the 26-year-old should not be at all short on suitors over the weeks and months ahead.

As per a report from MD:

‘Among the clubs that have shown the strongest interest are Celta Vigo and Galatasaray.’

Not only that, but La Liga pair Valencia and Sevilla are keen on Peña, too, albeit with neither having yet gone as far as to make formal contact with Barcelona.

A busy summer appears to be in store for the out-of-favour Blaugrana man…
