Barcelona star Robert Lewandowski has this weekend admitted that he is currently unaware whether he will still be plying his trade with the club beyond this coming season.
Frontman Lewandowski is for his part preparing to enter the final year of his contract in Catalunya’s capital.
The Pole is fresh off a thoroughly productive campaign in 2024/25, which saw him continue to produce at an elite level in front of goal.
All told, Lewandowski racked up a hefty 42 goals across all competitions.
Should such production continue over the course of the upcoming term, then those behind the scenes at the Camp Nou will be left with a call to make on a player who will by then be approaching his 38th birthday.
Speaking to the media this weekend, the subject of his long-term future in Barcelona was therefore put to Lewandowski himself.
And the former Bayern Munich man, in quotes relaid by Diario Sport, went on to admit:
“I don’t know if it will be my last year at Barça, I don’t have that in my head, I’m calm, that’s not important now, but the season.”
