Barcelona star admits he ‘annoys’ his teammates

Barcelona star Raphinha has admitted that he is likely viewed as the ‘annoying’ teammate in the club’ dressing room.

This comes owing to his steep demands for the rest of Hansi Flick’s squad.

Speaking during an exchange with the media late on Saturday, Raphinha was drawn on his role behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.

And the Brazilian went on to explain:

“Sometimes I feel like I’m annoying for my teammates, but I feel it’s important. I demand more from players that I know that are capable. If there has to be someone annoying in the dressing room, I don’t mind if it’s me.”

Raphinha’s comments of course come fresh off the former Leeds United man marking his return to starting duties in Barcelona colours.

After the Blaugrana welcomed Deportivo Alavés to the Spotify Camp Nou for a La Liga clash, Raphinha was restored to his berth on the left flank for the first time in two months.

And the 28-year-old went on to mark his appearance by laying on a pair of goals in a 3-1 victory.
