Barcelona star Eric García has revealed his take that ex-teammate Ansu Fati looks a happier and more content player since departing on loan over the summer.
Wide-man Ansu of course brought another temporary close to his Barcelona spell back in July.
This came by way of a loan move to France with AS Monaco for the duration of the 2025/26 campaign.
And after something of a shaky start to life in the principality, recent weeks have seen the 22-year-old explode back into life.
Across his last five appearances in all competitions, Ansu has managed to find the net three times.
Even more noteworthy, though, has been the fact that the Spaniard has rediscovered his smile, and his love for the game, along the way.
And such developments, as alluded to above, have not gone overlooked back in Catalunya’s capital.
Speaking during an interview with Diario Sport this week, Barcelona defender Eric García revealed his take that:
“In Monaco, Ansu looks much happier. The change of environment helped him rediscover himself. He still has the talent to succeed and will continue to grow.”
