La Liga champions Barcelona are set to team up with musical artist Ed Sheeran for their upcoming showdown with Real Madrid.
That’s according to RAC1, who have provided an insight into the details of the situation.
Barcelona have of course collaborated with a number of high-profile musicians over recent seasons.
As part of their stadium agreement with Spotify, the names and logos of the likes of Drake, Coldplay and Travis Scott have featured front and centre on the Blaugrana’s jersey for the headline fixtures of the club’s season – El Clásico.
And as alluded to above, the 2025/26 campaign will prove no different.
As per a report from RAC1, next month, upon making the trip to the Santiago Bernabéu, Hansi Flick’s Barca will don the name of English icon Ed Sheeran.
The first Clásico of the campaign is set to take place on October 26th, and could well prove a key fixture in the battle for La Liga supremacy this season.
