The board at La Liga giants Barcelona will on Wednesday hold meetings with the respective agents of two of the club’s first-team players.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who point towards Héctor Fort and Iñaki Peña as the pair in question.
Both defender Fort and goalkeeper Peña are of course expected to be on the move before the summer is out.
Neither feature in the plans of boss Hansi Flick for the season ahead, with a whole host of transfer options, permanent and temporary, being considered.
And as alluded to above, later today, significant steps towards one such solution are expected.
That’s according to MD, who have confirmed that:
‘A meeting is scheduled for this coming Wednesday in Barcelona between both players and their agents to discuss each case individually and analyze the best solution for their future.’
Expect further updates on the respective situations of the two players over the days ahead.
