The board at La Liga giants Barcelona have reignited discussions with the entourage of Manchester United star Marcus Rashford.
That’s according to transfer insider Florian Plettenberg of Sky, who has provided an insight into the situation.
Barcelona have of course been forced to kick back into gear a widespread search for reinforcements out wide over the last couple of days.
As much comes after priority target Nico Williams, after agreeing to the terms of a contract with the Blaugrana, out of the blue opted to put pen to paper on a new long-term deal with Athletic Club.
With the dust having now settled on the situation, Deco and co, in turn, have already gotten back to work to source needed reinforcements for Hansi Flick’s frontline.
And as alluded to above, over the last 24 hours, talks with one such target have restarted.
As per a report from Florian Plettenberg:
‘Understand FC Barcelona want to try again for Marcus Rashford. A move for Luis Díaz is currently very unlikely, so Barca have reopened talks with Rashford.’
