La Liga giants Barcelona have this week received a first winter proposal for the signature of Marc-André ter Stegen.
This come amid an ongoing push on the part of Turkish outfit Beşiktaş for his services.
Ter Stegen has seen his name heavily linked with that of Beşiktaş over the course of recent weeks.
As much comes ahead of a predicted January departure from Catalunya’s capital for the German international.
Now sitting 3rd in the goalkeeper pecking order in Hansi Flick’s squad, Ter Stegen requires at minimum a short-term Barca exit following the turn of the year, to secure the necessary playing time for a place at the 2026 World Cup.
On the lookout for reinforcements between the posts with a view to the 2nd half of the campaign, Beşiktaş have therefore positioned themselves at the front of the queue for the 33-year-old’s signature.
And as alluded to above, on Wednesday, details of the Istanbul-based club’s opening proposal for Ter Stegen have surfaced.
The info comes courtesy of Diario Sport, who have confirmed that:
‘Besiktas are in a position to assume his salary as well as a non-mandatory purchase option at the end of the season worth about 8 million euros.’
Ter Stegen has as of yet not responded to the offer, whilst awaiting further proposals over the weeks ahead.
