La Liga giants Barcelona this week received a considerable transfer offer by way of the Saudi Pro League.
That’s according to Fichajes, citing a number of sources, who point towards Robert Lewandowski as the subject of the proposal in question.
Frontman Lewandowski has of course long been expected to depart Barcelona next summer, upon the expiration of his contract terms.
Keen to get a leg up on the competition for his signature, however, an unnamed club from the Middle East have moved to fast-track his potential arrival to January.
As per Fichajes, Barcelona have received a €35 million offer for their veteran frontman for the January transfer window.
Not only that, but the Blaugrana are carefully studying the bid, having not yet ruled out Lewandowski’s sale.
Whilst they are in ongoing need of additional funds, the reigning Spanish champions are also aware that the 37-year-old’s experience and goals could prove crucial over the 2nd half of the campaign.
