Barcelona & Real Madrid’s head-turning win % under Clásico referee Soto Grado

An insight into the respective win percentages of Real Madrid and Barcelona in fixtures overseen by referee Cesar Soto Grado has been forthcoming online.

This comes after the Spaniard was the official chosen to take charge of Sunday’s showdown between La Liga’s two biggest clubs.

The appointment has since sparked chatter across both sets of fans, each quick to highlight questionable past decisions against their side.

When looking at the statistics, though, a clear picture emerges, at least when it comes to win rates.

As confirmed by Archivo VAR on ‘X’, Real Madrid have enjoyed a far better time of things under Soto Grado’s watch than Barcelona.

Los Blancos have racked up victories in 63% of their outings overseen by the official.

Barca, on the other hand, have enjoyed just a 42% win rate.

Turning focus towards defeats, Real have been downed in just 9% of their fixtures with Soto Grado as the man in the middle, compared to Barcelona’s hefty 35%.
