Members of the attacking ranks at both Barcelona and Real Madrid have secured nominations for the La Liga Player of the Month award.
From the latter, unsurprisingly, it is Lamine Yamal who gets the nod.
Wide-man Lamine for his part continued to shine bright across the month of December.
Focusing specifically on league fixtures, the 18-year-old racked up two direct goal contributions in four appearances. His performances, though, were so much more than just the statistics, with Lamine having continued to terrorise opposing backlines with standout dribbling and creativity.
And joining the youngster in the hunt for the December POTM is Real Madrid frontman Kylian Mbappé.
Mbappé took to the pitch on three occasions in La Liga this month, and chipped in with a pair of goals along the way.
As much proved key to getting Xabi Alonso’s Blancos back to winning ways.
Joining Lamine and Mbappé in the running for the honour of being crowned Spanish football’s best for December are Koke, Ionuț Radu, and Germán Valera.
