Players from the first-team ranks at Spanish football’s two leading clubs account for six of the 10 most valuable stars in world football at present.
That’s according to market experts transfermarkt, who have this week provided updated figures on the value of the game’s leading players the world over.
And as relaid by Mundo Deportivo, of the top-10, 60% come from the respective squads of Barcelona and Real Madrid.
The former boast a pair of inclusions, in the form of Pedri, and Lamine Yamal.
Xabi Alonso’s Blancos ranks, meanwhile, features a quartet of the game’s priciest stars, in Federico Valverde, Vinícius Jr, Jude Bellingham, and Kylian Mbappé.
The remainder of the top-10 is made up of Jamal Musiala (Bayern Munich), Florian Wirtz (Bayer Leverkusen), Bukayo Saka (Arsenal), and Erling Haaland (Manchester City).
