Spain’s top-flight has beaten out the Premier League to the title of most valuable combined XI in world football at present.
That’s according to Diario Sport, citing statistics from market experts Transfermarkt, who have this week provided an insight into the situation.
La Liga’s standout XI of players when it comes to market value in each role on the pitch consists of the following:
Unai Simón (28m); Trent Alexander-Arnold (75m), Cubarsí (80m), Huijsen (60m), Balde (60m); Valverde (130m), Pedri (140m), Bellingham (180m); Lamine Yamal (200m), Mbappé (180m) and Vinicius (170m).
All in, this line-up is considered to be worth €1,303 million on the market.
This is some way clear of the Premier League’s most pricey XI, which, despite the massive spending in the division this past summer, amounts to €1,095 million.
Rounding out the podium places in Europe’s top-5 leagues is the Germany Bundesliga, whose standout line-up is viewed as being worth €697 million.
