Spanish football’s two leading clubs are ready to go head-to-head on the market, for the signing of Leicester City sensation Jeremy Monga.
This comes amid the understanding that both Barcelona and Real Madrid consider the starlet as a future star in the making.
Monga, for his part, is widely considered to be one of the standout up-and-coming talents in England at present.
The attacker, who chiefly operates on the wing, last season became the 2nd-youngest debutant in Premier League history, after taking to the pitch for Leicester City in a meeting with Newcastle United.
And Monga has since gone on to play his part in a further 14 of the Foxes’ fixtures in 2025/26.
With such impressive exploits at such a young age comes inevitable outside interest, with the latest, it is understood, coming by way of La Liga.
As per a report from Fichajes:
‘Real Madrid and Barcelona maintain a strong interest in Jeremy Monga. Both clubs see the Leicester City player as a strategic market opportunity.’
Those on both sides of the Clásico divide are keen to bring the 16-year-old in with a view to next season, initially at youth level, before making the step up to senior duties down the line.’
