Spanish football’s two biggest clubs have positioned themselves in the race for the signature of Eintracht Frankfurt star Nathaniel Brown.
This comes as the defender continues to make a name for himself as a future star in the making.
Brown, for his part, is a 22-year-old left-back, who has spent the season to date building on his stellar reputation in German football.
Across 17 appearances between the Bundesliga and Champions League, the youngster has notched four direct goal contributions, whilst maintaining defensive solidity at the other end, too.
Such exploits recently culminated in a senior call-up on the part of Germany, giving rise to Brown’s first two caps for his nation.
And as alluded to above, such growth does not appear to have gone unnoticed in Spain…
As per a report from German football insider Florian Plettenberg, both Real Madrid and Barcelona are expressing a keen interest in bringing Brown to La Liga:
‘Nathaniel Brown is on Real Madrid’s shortlist for the coming summer! The 22 y/o left-back and new international was spotted by Real’s scouts most recently against Köln and Atalanta. Barcelona are also showing concrete interest, while Manchester United are keeping an eye on the situation.’
Eintracht Frankfurt, already resigned to a sale, are ready to demand a fee of €60-70 million for their defensive standout.
