Spanish football’s two leading clubs are expressing a keen interest in the signing of Manchester United star Kobbie Mainoo.
This comes with the Englishman expected to be available on loan for the 2nd half of the campaign.
Youngster Mainoo has endured an altogether underwhelming season to date, struggling for playing time under the watch of Man United boss Ruben Amorim.
All told, in the Premier League, the midfielder has been afforded just 170 minutes of time on the pitch.
The understanding is that Mainoo, in turn, is set to be loaned out in January, to secure a much-needed return to prominence.
Held in high regard across much of Europe, the 20-year-old is not expected to be at all short on suitors.
And front and centre amongst those eyeing a deal for Mainoo, it is claimed, are Barcelona and Real Madrid.
