A pair of La Liga clubs are ready to work side-by-side on the transfer front, to secure a signing this summer.
That’s according to Diario Sport, citing Estadio Deportivo, who point towards Barcelona and Real Betis as the two clubs in question.
The Blaugrana and Verdiblancos, it is claimed, are keen to join forces to land the highly-regarded Marc Pubill from Almería over the weeks ahead.
This would mark a repeat of the formula which culminated in a joint-signing between the sides back in 2019, when Emerson Royal was brought in from Atlético Mineiro.
In the case of Pubill, a gifted 22-year-old right-back, being landed this summer, the assumption is that the Spanish youth international, initially, would join Real Betis.
Then, down the line, in the case of sufficient development in a top-flight setting, Barcelona would move to buy their counterparts at the Estadio Benito Villamarín out of their 50% ownership of the player.
