La Liga champions Barcelona have reached an agreement on the personal terms of a contract with a leading summer transfer target.
That’s according to transfer insider Santi Aouna, who points towards Nico Williams as the player in question.
Wide-man Nico for his part last week made a conscious effort to reignite the saga linking him with a move to the Camp Nou.
This came by way of a direct instruction to agent Félix Tainta, to hold a meeting with Barcelona sporting director Deco.
And if the latest word stemming from the media on Tuesday is anything to go by, then such efforts on Nico’s part appear to have had the desired effect.
As per a report from journalist Santi Aouna:
‘Barca have reached a pre-agreement with Nico Williams. Contract valid until June 2031. €12m gross per season.’
News of Nico’s move to Barcelona inching closer comes just a day out from Joan García’s expected unveiling as a Blaugrana player.
