La Liga giants Barcelona have reportedly reached an agreement in principle with a chief attacking transfer target.
The player in question? Federico Chiesa.
The name of wide-man Chiesa has of course dominated the headlines in Catalunya’s capital across the week to date.
This comes amid widespread confirmation that the Italian international, out of the plans of new Juventus boss Thiago Motta, has made his way firmly onto the wishlist of Barcelona.
The Camp Nou brass are on the lookout for reinforcements out wide, with Chiesa’s experience at the top level, as well as his ability to play on both wings, making him a tempting profile.
The Blaugrana, as a result, are soon expected to table an opening offer for the 26-year-old’s signature.
In anticipation of as much, though, this weekend, Deco and co. are said to have tied up an agreement with the player himself.
As per a report from transfer insider Adrián Sánchez:
‘Fali Ramadani (Chiesa’s agent) and Barcelona have an AGREEMENT IN PRINCIPLE for Federico Chiesa.’
