Barcelona pushing for signature of Man United youngster

La Liga champions Barcelona have ramped up efforts to bring in JJ Gabriel from Premier League giants Manchester United.

That’s according to Red Devils insider Samuel Luckhurst, who has on Wednesday provided an insight into the situation.

Attacker Gabriel is for his part widely considered to be a future star in the making behind the scenes on the red half of Manchester.

Just 15 years of age, the England youth international is already one of the star performers for United’s U18 outfit.

Just this past weekend, he netted a hat-trick in a dominant victory over Liverpool, to take his tally to 10 goals in 10 appearances thus far this term.

And such ongoing excellence has not gone unnoticed amongst those behind the scenes at the aforementioned Barcelona…

As per a report from journalist Samuel Luckhurst, writing for The Sun:

‘Barcelona are making a serious effort to prise Gabriel from United and take him to their famed La Masia academy.’

The Old Trafford brass are pushing hard to tie Gabriel down to a new contract, but the Blaugrana appear ready to pull out all the stops to lure the prodigious youngster to Spain.
