Barcelona pair Lamine Yamal and Hansi Flick have this week been handed respective individual accolades.
Both prizes have come by way of Spanish outlet Marca, who have put their Real Madrid backing to one side, to reward the Blaugrana duo for their efforts last season.
Beginning with wide-man Lamine, the 18-year-old has finally secured his trophy for Marca’s La Liga Player of the Season for 2024/25.
The youngster of course played a starring role for Barcelona en route to wrestling back league supremacy from Real Madrid last time out.
All told, across 35 appearances from his berth on the right wing, Lamine racked up nine goals and a hefty 15 assists.
On the touchline, meanwhile, it was tactician Flick pulling the strings in Catalunya’s capital.
In his debut campaign in Spanish football, the German wasted little time endearing himself to the Barca faithful.
Employing an explosive brand of attack-minded football, Flick has in turn scooped his prize as Marca’s La Liga Manager of the Season:
