Barcelona board members Joan Laporta and Deco over the last 24 hours sat down for a meeting with super agent Jorge Mendes, to discuss all matters transfer market-related.
That’s according to Diario Sport’s Carlos Monfort, who has provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.
Agent Mendes, for his part, was in attendance at Barcelona’s base on Wednesday evening.
This came to show his support for client Lamine Yamal, on the day the youngster received the Blaugrana’s iconic no.10 jersey.
As alluded to above, though, this was not the only order of business for the Portuguese whilst in Catalunya.
In addition, after the formalities of Lamine’s ceremony had been dealt with, Mendes headed for a sit-down dinner with Barca president Joan Laporta and sporting director Deco in the city.
As per a report from Sport:
‘The meeting focused exclusively on potential signings for the club.’
It now remains to be seen whether as much could give rise to fresh additions to Hansi Flick’s star-studded squad over the weeks ahead.
