Two leading figures at La Liga giants Barcelona this week sat down for a formal meeting with super agent Pini Zahavi.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Hansi Flick and Joan Laporta as the Blaugrana pair in question.
Zahavi, for his part, acts as the representative for both Barca boss Flick, and veteran frontman Robert Lewandowski.
The Israeli boasts a strong relationship with the Camp Nou brass, a bond which has culminated in several high-profile arrivals over recent years.
And if the latest word stemming from the Spanish media over the last 24 hours is anything to go by, Zahavi now appears ready to aid Barcelona’s efforts to land another leading transfer target.
As per a report from Sport, the 82-year-old is acting as an intermediary in the Catalans’ move for Manchester United star Marcus Rashford.
Frontman Rashford is understood to be more than keen on a potential Camp Nou switch, with Zahavi ready to play his part in ensuring that as much comes to fruition before the summer is out.
