La Liga giants Barcelona have on Tuesday afternoon unveiled the club’s latest matchday squad.
And it features one altogether noteworthy return…
Barca are of course primed to return to action later this evening, when they turn focus back towards matters on the continent.
Fresh off extending their advantage atop the La Liga table courtesy of a 5-3 downing of Real Betis over the weekend, the Blaugrana will lock horns with Eintracht Frankfurt in the Champions League.
Hansi Flick’s troops head into the matchup desperate for a return to winning ways in Europe, after an alarming 3-0 defeat at the hands of Chelsea last time out.
And as alluded to above, this afternoon, the squad of players set to be tasked with as much by Hansi Flick has been revealed.
The headline inclusion comes in the form of Marc-André ter Stegen, the German’s first matchday call of the season, following a long road to recovery from back surgery over the summer.
Also in are youngsters Marc Bernal, Jofre Torrents and Pedro ‘Dro’ Fernández.
