La Liga giants Barcelona have made the call not to hold a training session at Stamford Bridge ahead of their upcoming meeting with Chelsea.
This comes with the Blaugrana instead primed to finish out their preparations in Catalunya’s capital before boarding a flight to west London.
Hansi Flick’s squad are of course primed to make the trip to the UK early this coming week.
As much comes ahead of a highly-anticipated Champions League showdown with reigning Club World Cup holders Chelsea.
It has long been customary for visiting teams to see out their final training session before a fixture on the continent at the stadium of their upcoming hosts.
For Barcelona, however, this will not prove the case on Monday.
As per a report from club insider Alex Pintanel of RAC1:
‘Barça won’t train at Stamford Bridge. They’ll do it at the Ciutat Esportiva before traveling to London.’
