The brass at La Liga giants Barcelona are growing increasingly doubtful of moving ahead with a proposal for Juventus star Dušan Vlahović.
This comes with the Blaugrana having been left unimpressed by the Serbian’s production across the season to date.
Frontman Vlahović is for his part sidelined at present, owing to a serious muscular injury.
Prior to as much, though, the former Fiorentina man had found the net a modest six times in 17 appearances across all competitions.
Vlahović had previously been tipped as one of the leading contenders to replace the outbound Robert Lewandowski in Hansi Flick’s Barcelona frontline next season.
This comes with the 25-year-old’s Juventus contract terms set to expire in the summer of 2026.
As per a report from Diario Sport, however:
‘Barcelona have followed Vlahović as an option for the striker. Bojan was directly following his evolutions, but expectations are not being met this season.’
