La Liga champions Barcelona have this week been tipped as a potential landing spot for a member of the attacking ranks at Premier League giants Chelsea.
The player in question? Nicolas Jackson.
Frontman Jackson all of a sudden finds himself pushed down the pecking order at centre-forward in west London.
This comes after Chelsea invested heavily on the additions of both João Pedro and Liam Delap this summer.
Jackson, in turn, has inevitably been tipped for a Blues exit.
And as alluded to above, this week, none other than Hansi Flick’s Barcelona have been credited with an interest in the Senegalese international.
As per a report from Mundo Deportivo, citing Caught Offside in England, the Camp Nou brass are studying the formula of an immediate swoop for Jackson.
As much would come with a view to the former Villarreal man spending the season ahead learning from Robert Lewandowski, before slotting into the Pole’s position upon his departure in a year’s time.
