Barcelona linked with potential move for Liverpool star amid squad overhaul talks

In England, speculation surrounds Darwin Núñez and Raphinha, with suggestions of potential moves involving both players.

As per Mundo Deportivo, Núñez is seen as a possible replacement for Robert Lewandowski at Barcelona, whose departure from Camp Nou is anticipated to ease the wage bill at the Catalan club.

Meanwhile, Tottenham have expressed interest in acquiring Raphinha’s services. Notably, Núñez’s agent, Jorge Mendes, could facilitate any potential deal.

Núñez was previously linked with Barcelona during his time at Almería before moving to Benfica for €24 million and subsequently to Liverpool for a fixed fee of €75 million plus €25 million in variables.

Despite his impressive performance this season, with 18 goals in 51 appearances, his contract until 2028 makes a transfer unlikely due to Barcelona’s financial constraints.

On the other hand, Tottenham’s interest in Raphinha appears more feasible. The Brazilian has long been on the English club’s radar, and Barcelona are in need of selling players to ease their financial burden.

However, Raphinha remains committed to Barcelona, especially after his pivotal role in recent matches. Barcelona will aim to recoup at least €55 million from any potential transfer, emphasizing their reluctance to let go of the talented winger.
