La Liga champions Barcelona are aware of the fee with which they will be required to part, to secure a deal for Levante star Karl Etta Eyong.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who have confirmed that, for Spanish clubs, a €30 million release clause has been included in the Cameroonian’s contract.
Barcelona, it is understood, are giving real consideration to a move for Etta Eyong, having identified the 22-year-old as a potential long-term replacement for Robert Lewandowski.
Such a swoop could even be forthcoming as early as January, allowing Etta Eyong to return to Levante on loan for the remainder of the term.
The Blaugrana, however, are far from the only ones interested.
Real Madrid are also keeping a close eye on the development of a player who has exploded to the tune of nine goal contributions in 10 appearances this season.
In England, meanwhile, all of Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal have also been named as potential landing spots.
The price for Premier League clubs, though, is higher, coming in at €40 million.
