La Liga champions Barcelona have made the call to change Hansi Flick’s partner for the club’s pre-Eintracht Frankfurt press conference.
That’s according to club insider Gerard Romero, who has on Sunday provided an insight into the situation.
Barcelona are of course primed to return to action on Tuesday evening.
Fresh off a 5-3 downing of Real Betis in La Liga on Saturday, the Blaugrana will turn focus back towards matters on the continent, in a Champions League meeting with the aforementioned Eintracht.
Hansi Flick will hold his customary pre-match press conference on Monday, on the eve of the fixture.
And initially, it was decided that Frenkie de Jong would be the Barca player to join his manager in the media exchange.
As alluded to above, however, at the last, the Blaugrana have made the call to change things up.
As per journalist Gerard Romero, for as of yet unknown reasons, Gerard Martín is set to replace De Jong at Flick’s side on Monday evening.
