Barcelona hold meeting over Jesse Bisiwu signing

The brass at La Liga giants Barcelona recently held a round of talks over the potential signing of Club Brugge sensation Jesse Bisiwu.

This comes amid the understanding that the Blaugrana have set their sights on a 2026 summer deal for the youngster.

Bisiwu, for his part, is a 17-year-old attacker who generally operates on the left wing.

The Belgian recently piqued the attentions of leading clubs across Europe, courtesy of his performances at the U17 World Cup.

And amongst those to have had their heads turned are reigning Spanish champions Barcelona.

As per a report from market insider Sacha Tavolieri:

‘Impressed by his U17 World Cup, FC Barcelona held a private meeting with Bisiwu and his entourage to convince him ahead of a potential summer 2026 move.’

The plan on the part of Deco and co. would be for Bisiwu to first link up with the Blaugrana’s reserve team, before kicking on towards a first-team berth.

It is also noted, though, that Club Brugge are keen to keep hold of their latest breakthrough young talent.
