La Liga champions Barcelona knocked back a proposal for a member of the club’s midfield ranks earlier this summer. The Blaugrana star in question? Marc Casadó.
Midfielder Casadó has of course been heavily linked with a move away from the Camp Nou this summer. Out of the plans of Barcelona boss Hansi Flick, the 22-year-old has been identified as a necessary source of funds by Deco and the Blaugrana brass.
To date, a whole host of clubs from across Europe are understood to have expressed an interest in the signature of the Spanish international. It is Saudi outfit Al-Hilal, though, who have stepped forward with the only financial proposal of note.
As per a report from Mundo Deportivo:
‘Al Hilal has already taken a step forward and submitted an offer to FC Barcelona for the midfielder, which the Catalan club rejected in July.’
Deco and his team of directors are understood to have been left entirely unimpressed by the offer put on the table for Casadó.
Barcelona are seeking a fee in the region of €30-40 million to sanction a sale, a figure which Al-Hilal have thus far not come close to reaching.
