Supporters of La Liga giants Barcelona have on Tuesday evening banded together, to send a collective transfer message to the club’s board.
This comes after Hansi Flick’s troops were condemned to their very first defeat of the campaign, at the hands of European champions Paris Saint-Germain.
When all was said and done at the Parc des Princes, Barca found themselves on the wrong side of a 4-2 result, despite battling back to level terms during the 2nd-half.
The real issue, beyond the result, however, was the sheer number of goalscoring opportunities which the visitors gave up over the course of the 90 minutes.
PSG racked up 22 shots all told, as the lack of depth in Hansi Flick’s defensive ranks in the absence of the likes of Eric García and Jules Koundé was laid bare.
Post-match on a frustrating evening for all associated with the club, those of a Barcelona persuasion have therefore taken to social media in numbers, to send a crystal clear message to Deco and his transfer team: Sign a defender.
