Supporters of La Liga giants Barcelona have on Sunday kicked back into gear a campaign for the signing of Rayo Vallecano star Andrei Rațiu.
This comes after the Romanian enjoyed conjured up another fine showing in the colours of Rayo.
En route to a goalless stalemate with table-topping Real Madrid, Rațiu shone from his berth at right-back, stout in his defending, and a constant threat going forward.
And safe to say, such endeavours did not go unnoticed on the part of those of a Barcelona persuasion…
Rațiu was hotly tipped for a move to Catalunya’s capital this past summer, as Deco and co. sought out a differential profile to challenge Jules Koundé.
With the latter in the midst of a hugely underwhelming individual campaign to date, calls have in turn begun to mount for the Blaugrana to kick their pursuit of Rayo’s talented full-back back into gear in the January transfer window.
